2000 Days into Hip-Hop [THANK YOU MOM]
started rapping freestylin around 16 years old.
dropped 5 songs my senior year thanks to Donny Buddz who was on the production mixed and mastered them and did a research paper on Hip Hop you can still find online.
performing for my school peers once you start getting even a slight bit of attention from girls it was over. I knew this is what im tryna do.
performed for a live hip hop show when notromusic brought me up and i didn’t get BOOd . did open mics routinely thanks to joey Diaz and comics like Joe rogan. through them also began getting into performing stand-up comedy and podcasting. A very different artform but I talk enough shit I thought fuck it. I go onstage anyway, I’ve bombed before what the hell.
doing sets from songs I made at my friends house or someones bathroom. I’ve recorded in a farm a shed a bathroom was probably the least weird.
drop a lot of music. how many of them are not “hot garbage” is a different number but I know there have been worse.
MCNB was born. I enjoy the simplicity. for clothes and hats and t-shirts I think im going to keep it.
I took over the production since I didn’t have the capitol to pay for big studios or even local producers who were probably over charging but what can you do…dont hate the player hate the game. I collaborated and with a lot of beautiful local artists
and we ended up with a hit. “sonoma music video” look it up.
so I went on a promo rampage on every public radio and blog I could find, anyones podcast who would have me on and try to bring some sort of value to the show, whether its energy or music…same thang.
collaborating with local graphic designer and hustler ANDRELO PRODUCTIONS and he brought a vision to life.
6 MIXTAPES later, A few t shirts ahead, couch surfing waves ago; Time Flies. sometimes all you need is a spark to get some inspiration started. then its perspiration I hear…wipe the sweat. we out. with much love
